My sixth month was a big month for me! I officially learned to eat my solids, crawl (or scoot), say dadda, and sleep through the night among other things. I have been quite the active little boy, moving around and playing with my toys always with a big smile on my face. Kasey and I have become big friends, mainly because she has dibs on anything that falls from my high chair. I also got baptized this month! It's been such a fun month, I don't even know how to describe it. Check out the pictures.. you'll see!

My sexto mes fue un mes muy grande para mi. Apprendi officialmente a comer comidas solidas, empese a gatiar, puedo decir dadda y apprendi a dormir toda la noche! Soy un chiquito muy activo, moviendome por todo lados y jugando con mis jugetes, siempre con una sonrisa grande. Kasey y yo nos hicimos buenos amigos, mas que nada porque la dejan comer cualquier cosa que se cae de mi silla. Tambien me bautisaron este mes. No se ni como decirles lo lindo que fue este mes. Mejor vean las fotos.. van a ver!

My baptism / Mi bautismo

Today was my baptism. I was very good and talked through most of it. Deacon Bill put water on my head and I loved it. I wanted to jump into the font. Here are some pictures of my baptism.

Hoy me bautisaron. Me porte muy bien y hable casi todo el tiempo. El diacono me puso agua en la cabeza y me encanto! Queria brincar en la fuente! Aqui estan las fotos de mi bautismo.

Today I reached another milestone! Daddy and I are great friends so today I decided to say my first word - dadda. He's been teaching me every day so I thought I'd just say it and boy was he proud of me! Here's some video so you can hear it yourself..

Trying so hard! / Tratando tanto!

We had our six month doctor's appointment this week and Gabriel did great despite the 5 vaccines he got. The doctor was very proud of him and said he could start trying a little more solid food. We gave him some puffs that afternoon. He loves them but can't really figure out what he's supposed to do. Observe:

Esta semana fuimos a la cita de Gabriel de los 6 meses y el gordo se porto muy bien cuando le dieron sus 5 vacunas. Peso 17 libras! El doctor estaba muy contento con el y nos dijo que podia empesar a comer comidas mas solidas. Le dimos unos puffs esa tarde. Le encanta, pero no entiende muy bien lo que tiene que hacer. Observen:

The pool / La piscina

Mom and dad had a cookout with the neighbors and they bought us a cool kiddie pool for us to play. It was a hot day and the water was nice and warm. The girls cried but I had a great time! Here's a bit of video so you can see. I loved the water but got a little confused when it splashed back onto my face.

Mama y papa tuvieron un asado con los vesinos y nos compraron una piscina para que pudieramos jugar. El dia estuvo muy caliente y el agua estaba calientita. Las chicas lloraron pero a mi me encanto! Aqui hay un poco de video para que puedan ver. Me encanto el agua pero me confundi un poquito cuando salto el agua en mi cara!

Good morning! / Buenos dias!!

Mommy and daddy take me to their bed in the mornings so I can play for a little while. This is a morning when I wasn't quite awake yet but mommy took video anyways.

Mami y papi me llevan a su cama en las mananas para que pueda jugar un ratito. Esta manana no estaba totalmente despierto pero aun asi, mami tomo video.

Five and a half months and I can't keep still. I want to crawl so bad and I've almost got it. Just a little more practice!

4 months

My fourth month in this world was very fun. I got my first haircut, I played a lot at daycare and I went shopping with mom for mothers day. They bought me a hat and sunglasses. Here are some pictures so you can see what I did this month.

Mi cuarto mes en este mundo fue muy divertido. Me cortaron el pelo por primera ves, juge mucho en mi escuelita y fui de compras con mami para el dia de las madres. Me compraron un sombrero y antiojos de sol! Aqui hay fotos para que vean todo lo que hice en este mes.

My doctor said I was a big boy and could start eating some rice cereal. This is a clip from my very first attempt at eating solid foods.

My morning exercise / Mi ejercicio de la manana

Hey guys! I wanted to share this video with you. I'm in my new pj's which I love to not only sleep in, but to play in too. My mommy put me in my little crib where there's a mobile that moves little fishies around. It's so cool! I spend about half an hour in there in the mornings just watching them turn.

Hola todos! Queria ensenarles este video. Estoy en mis pijamas nuevas. Me encanta no solo dormir en ellas pero jugar tambien. Mami me puso en mi cunita donde hay un movil con pesesitos que se mueven. Es muy carga! Todas las mananas paso como media hora ahi solamente viendolos dando vuelta.

My daddy bought me this bouncy this weekend. It's different from my other one because this one has a giraffe and an elephant. I played with it all morning and love it! Here's some video for you to see.

Weeks 5 and 6 / Semanas 5 y 6

I can't believe I've been here for over a month now! I'm growing big and strong every day. I've been able to hang out more with my cousins for the Chinese New Year and with some more new friends. I've started smiling a lot when people talk to me and can talk with them too if I'm happy enough. Mom and dad got me a bunch of new toys that I play with including a really neat swing. It has little fishies and lights that I can't get enough of. Here are some pics of my next few weeks.

No puedo creer que ya tengo mas de un mes de estar aqui! Estoy creciendo mucho todos los dias. Pase mas tiempo con mis primitos para el ano nuevo chino y conoci mas amigitos nuevos. Empese a reirme mucho cuando alguien me habla y yo hablo con ellos tambien si estoy contento. Mami y papi me compraron un monton de jugetes nuevos incluyendo una amacita muy carga. Tiene pesesitos y lucesitas que me encantan. Aqui estan unaas fotos de estas semanas.

One Month Celebration / Celebracion de un Mes

Today we celebrated my one month birthday with all my family. It's a very important tradition in my father's culture so we went to a really good restaurant. I spent a lot of time with my cousins who love me very much. My mommy dressed me up very handsomely as you can see from the pictures below.

Week Three At Home / Tersera Semana en La Casa

I spent my third week at home getting used to the routine. My grandma My was here helping me adjust. I did a lot of sleeping but am starting to stay awake a little longer, playing with whomever plays with me. I'm starting to make more noises and listen carefully to whomever talks to me. I even look for them when they walk away. It's been a fun week. Here are some pictures.

Pase mi terser semana en la casa acostumbrandome a la routina. Mi Abuelita My estaba aqui ayudandome a ajustar. Dormi mucho pero estoy empesando a quedarme despeierto un poquito mas, jugando con cualquier persona que juega con migo. Below are some pictures of my second week. It's been pretty rough. I've been sleeping and eating and sleeping and eating! I had my two week appointment and was told I've gained one pound and grown one inch. I also met some of my cousins this week that came to visit me. I love my life!

Aqui hay unas fotos de mi segunda semana. Fue muy dificil! Solo duermo y como y duermo y como! Tuve mi cita de las dos semanas y me dijieron que peso una libra mas y cresi una pulgada. Tambien conosi unos de mis primitos que me vinieron a visitar. Me encanta mi vida!!
