My First Christmas / Mi Primera Navidad

I loved Christmas! Mom and Dad dressed me up in some cute outfits that grandma bought me. My uncles and aunt came up to visit and we had a big dinner with our close friends. That night we went to mass and I slept through the whole thing! The next day was even better. We woke up and opened a bunch of presents. Well, most of us woke up. I slept through almost all of it! Me encanto navidad! Mami y papi me vistieron en una ropita muy linda que me compro abuelita. Mis tios y tia vinieron a visitar y comimos una cena muy grande con nuestros amigos. Esa noche fuimos a misa y me dormi todo el tiempo. El proximo dia fue mejor todavia! Nos despertamos y abrimos un monton de regalos. Bueno.. algunos de nosotros nos despertamos. Yo me quede dormido. Bath Time / Tiempo para banarme

Mommy and daddy gave me a bath today. I hate it! My favorite thing in the whole wide world is to be bundled up in my covers. I scream and shout when they take off my clothes and get me all wet. I do love it when they put water on my head, though. The shampoo feels like a little massage. My favorite part of the whole thing is when it's all over and my mommy and daddy bundle me up again. Once I have my clothes back on, I tend to fall asleep on daddy's shoulder since it was all so traumatic :)

Mami y papi me dieron un bano hoy. Lo odio! La cosa que me gusta mas que todo en este mundo es estar acurucado en mis cobijitas. Lloro y grito cuando me quitan la ropita y me mojan todo. Eso si me encanta cuando me ponen agua en la cabesa. El champu se siente como un masajito. Mi parte favorita de todo esto es cuando se termina y me vuelven a poner mis cobijitas. Cuando me ponen la ropita, normalmente me duermo en el hombro de papi porque todo fue muy traumatico :)

I'm coming home! / Me voy para la casa!

I got to go home today! Although I was very grateful to everyone at the hospital, I was very ready to see my new home. My daddy packed me up in my car seat and grandma bundled me up with the blanket my greatgrandma made. Once I got home, I was able to hang out with a lot of family and new friends. It was a really exciting day and I was definitely very tired when it was all said and done :)

Hoy me dieron la salida! Aunque estava muy agradecido con todos en el hospital, estuve muy listo para ver mi casita nueva. My papi me monto en mi sillita del caro y abuelita me acuruco con la cobijita que cosio mi bisabuela. Cuando llege a la casa, pase mucho tiempo con mi familia y amigos nuevos. Fue un dia muy emocionante y estuve muy cansado cuando todo termino :)

My Second Day in this World / Mi Segundo Dia en Este Mundo

Today was my second day. I'm still in the NICU (baby intensive care unit) but I'm doing very well. Today I met a lot of my family and was fed a lot by them and my mommy and daddy. I was able to meet mommy again today who I hadn't seen since I was born. I'm a very quiet baby, sleeping and eating a lot. Sometimes it's hard to feed me because I'm such a sleepyhead! Here are some pics of my second day and a few videos too so you can meet me a little more.

Hoy fue mi segundo dia. Estoy todavia en el NICU (cuidados intensivos para bebes) pero estoy mucho mejor. Hoy conoci a mucha de mi familia y ellos y mi mama y papa me dieron de comer mucho. Pude ver a mi mama otravez. No la habia visto desde que naci. Soy un bebe muy tranquilito, durmiendo y comiendo bastante. A veses es dificil darme de comer porque soy tan dormilon! Aqui hay unas fotos de mi segundo dia y unos videos para que me conoscan un poquito mas.

36 Week Photo Shoot / Fotos a las 36 semanas

We can't believe it, but we'll be at 36 weeks on Friday! We went to the doctor's office today and had our last ultrasound. We found out our baby is perfectly healthy and bouncing around everywhere. Our little baby is weighing about 5.5 lbs now. If everything continues at the normal rate, he should be about 7.5 lbs by the time we see him for the first time. Below are some pictures for you to enjoy.

No lo podemos creer, pero el viernes cumpliremos 36 semanas de embarasso! Fuimos al doctor hoy y tuvimos nuestro ultimo ultrasonido. Encontraron al bebe totalmente saludable y moviendose por todo lado. Nuestro bebesito esta pesando 5.5 libras (2.5 kg). Si todo continua igual, deberia pesar mas o menos 7.5 libras (3.4 kg)cuando por fin lo podemos ver por primera ves. Aqui hay unas fotos para que disfruten.

Baby Shower from the Ong Family / Fiesta del Bebe de parte de la Familia Ong

Today Ken's family threw us a baby shower to celebrate our little blessing. We had so much fun hanging out with family and friends. There were lots of games and delicious food! Below are some of the pictures.

The baby room! / El cuarto del bebe!

Ken started working on the baby room today. He worked hard all week and was able to finish it up. We still need to put the border up, but it looks great and we're ready to start putting things in it. Enjoy the pics!

Ken empeso a trabajar en el cuarto del bebe hoy. Trabajo duro toda la semana y lo termino todo. Todavia tenemos que ponerle el borde, pero se ve muy lindo y estamos listos para empesar a arreglarlo todo bien. Disfruten las fotos!

It's a boy! / Es un bebesito!!

We had "the" sonogram this week, and found out we're having a boy! We were very excited and Ken was very proud of his little son. Below are some pictures we brought home with us, along with a caption describing what they are since some of them are hard to make out.

Esta semana tuvimos "el" sonograma, y apprendimos que vamos a tener un hombresito! Estamos bien contentos y Ken estaba muy orgulloso de su hijito. Aqui estan las fotos que nos tomaron, y unas palabritas detayando lo que estan viendo, ya que hay unas que son dificiles de ver.

10 Week Photo Shoot / Fotos a las 10 semanas

We had an appointment with the doctor today and wanted to share the latest and greatest. This time even I could tell where the baby was and Ken was super excited to see him/her swing his/her little hands ping-pong style while I saw some great soccer kicks! We heard the heart beat again and it was a strong 176 beats per minute! :) Here are the pictures. The first two of the little "frijolito" (bean) as mom calls it. The last shows the heart (which is hard to see in my opinion) but also the heart beat. Thanks for all the prayers. They seem to be working great as the baby's as healthy as can be.

Hoy tuvimos cita con el doctor otra vez y queriamos compartir la ultima noticia. Esta vez hasta yo pude ver donde estaba el bebecito y Ken estaba tan contento viendol(o/a) moviendo sus manitas jugando ping pong mientras yo vi unas buenas patiadas de futbol! Oimos su corazoncito otra ves y estaba latiando 176 golpes por minuto! :) Aqui estan las fotos. Las primeras dos son de el "frijolito" como lo llama mami. La ultima es de el corazoncito (que es dificil de ver en mi opinon) pero tambien tiene los latidos del corazón. Gracias por todas las oraciones. Estan funcionando ya que el bebe esta de lo mas bien!

8 week Photo Shoot/Foto a las 8 Semanas

We had another sonogram today. Although it was really hard to make out, we were actually able to see the little baby inside his/her little home. There's definitely nothing in the world that compares to seeing your little baby for the first time. Needless to say, it was very emotional for us both. The doctor says the baby looks healthy and great. Thank you again for all the prayers!

Hoy tuvimos otro sonograma. Aunque fue un poco dificil de ver bien, vimos el bebesito en su casita nueva. Definitivamente no hay otra cosa en el mundo mas linda que ver nuestro(a) bebe por primera vez. Fue muy emocionante para los dos. El doctor dice que el bebe se ve muy sano(a) y que todo va bien. Muchas gracias por todas las oraciones!

6 week Photo Shoot/ Foto a las 6 Semanas

We had our first sonogram today. Thankfully everything looks great! As you can see in the picture, the little one has built his/her new little home. Right now it’s a bit early to see the baby, but hopefully we’ll see something in the coming weeks.

Hoy tuvimos el primer sonograma del bebe. Gracias a Dios todo salio muy bien! Como pueden ver en la foto, el frijolito a creado su nueva casita. Ahorita es muy temprano en el embarasso para ver lo/la, pero esperamos ver algo en las proximas semanas.
